This game borrows from real research, then plays with it. Please hold the results loosely.

Not a clinical or psychometric instrument

The cards are informed by published work — Gottman's research on repair attempts and contempt, the Thomas-Kilmann conflict modes, attachment research on pursue-withdraw cycles, Wasserman's The Founder's Dilemmas, faultline research on power concentration, and the standard behavioural trust and public-goods games. It has not been validated as a psychometric test, it hasn't been peer reviewed, and it produces no clinical result of any kind.

Not advice

Nothing here is therapy, counselling, mediation, medical or mental-health advice, legal advice, tax advice, or investment advice. If a conversation surfaces something heavy, talk to a qualified professional. If you're in crisis, contact your local emergency service or crisis line.

Not a decision-making tool

Do not use the report to decide who to hire, fire, promote, fund, or how to split equity. Answers are self-reported, mood-dependent, and easy to game. The value is in what you say to each other afterwards, not in the output.

Consent matters

Only play with people who want to play. Sharing someone's answers or report without their agreement breaks our terms and, more importantly, the point of the exercise.
